When a visitor presses the call button or motion detection is triggered, the GateGuard camera automatically records video or captures snapshots. All footage is securely stored on an external memory card, providing reliable, around-the-clock protection for your home. The display will also trigger to start and send real-time video and call requests to the owner's phone, integrating seamlessly with smart access control functionality.

With advanced infrared night vision, GateGuard delivers clear, full-color images even at night, so you never miss a detail. Additionally, its wireless intercom feature ensures easy communication with visitors without the need for complicated wiring.

✅ Check specs carefully — full IP65 waterproof rating and Tuya app compatibility are ideal for outdoor weather resistance and remote access, especially if you want features like night vision security. ✅ Confirm unlock features if you specifically need RFID/IC card/password unlock — these are more common on wired intercom systems rather than simple battery doorbells, making smart access control an important consideration. ✅ Make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz — most Tuya doorbells don’t support 5 GHz, which is essential for maintaining a reliable connection for your wireless intercom.

Some Tuya intercom systems include smart access control features like password and IC/RFID card unlock, especially when paired with an indoor monitor as part of a comprehensive access control system. However, simple wireless intercom systems, such as basic wireless doorbells, often do not include built-in RFID/password unlock hardware unless specified in the product description. Many intercom systems that support password and IC card unlocking are wired door intercom units rather than battery-powered standalone wireless units, which may also lack night vision security capabilities.
